Now what to do if you are not a twink and don’t have a level 20+ character.

1. Don’t waste coin. (Don’t buy or sell for more than N.P.C.’s)

2. 10 Characters per server, use them.
a. Broker (mail him stuff to sell on auction house, doesn’t leave city)
b. Warlock (Free Horse, easy to level, low cost, Tailor & Skinning)
c. Palladine ((same as above, Blacksmith & Mining)
d. Main character and professions of your choice
e. Rogue (open lock-boxes, Leather-work & Skinning)
f. druid (free mount and flying, Herbalism & Mining)

3. Gathering professions (Herbalism and Skinning)

4. Sell skins and herbs for reasonable prices

So what does all this mean? Take your broker char to a capital city and leave him/her there. All the broker does is move from the mailbox to the auction house.

My second character is a warlock, when this character gets to level 6 I learn herbalism and skinning. Silver-leaf is a level 5 item, that I sell for 25 silver a stack of 20. I price them 5 silver x item level(5) for a full stack of 20. This same pricing will also work for skins. If you sell 4 stacks of herbs and 4 stacks of skins a day for 5 days, you have 25s x (4+4) x 5 days = 10g in 5 days. With my first stack sold I buy 4 pouches (6-slot bags).

I notice alot of players don’t loot junk, then they ask how to make money. Junk items stack and these stacks sell to vendors higher than single slot items.

Lastly don’t buy gear on the auction house, unless it is cheaper than what N.P.C.’s sell for. Remember you don’t make money while you are dueling. Try and put off Tailoring and Blacksmith until that character is level 10.

I leveled 9 characters to 60 (when that was the max) and never hurt for coin. I had 4 chars hit 40 in one week and spent less than half my gold on mounts and training, but 2 of those chars had free mounts. Good luck and have fun.
