is it legal to buy World of warcraft gold?

Iv been playing wow for a while and havent bought gold but i always see advertisements and my friends say they have bough gold from place like wow mine.
i hav also heard that it is a illegal and there is a chance you can get you credit card number stolen?
can someone give me the cold hard fact regarding this?

You could get your credit Number stolen which is bad! But if you by from Susan it wont be.
Also yes if Blizzard catches you buying gold from anyone they will take your account and tell you to buy a new one! Good Luck!

no, its not legal, it violates the Blizzard terms of service. its not safe, when you buy gold you're giving a random person your account information (give you a high chance of being hacked, characters get messed with), and a lot of the companies out there arent very reliable, you do run a risk of getting credit card stolen

No it's not legal. In fact it's illegal. If Blizzard finds out you'll get banned from the game.

If Blizzard catches you, they will ban your account. Also, you run a risk of the person taking your account or at least messing with it. If they were going to meet you online, they may just take your money and not give the gold to you. You run a high risk of being scammed in these ways as well as others (such as the "sellers" taking your credit number) , so I advise that you dont buy gold, just get a high level (easier said than done) and earn it yourself.

Making profit is illegal. How do the sellers get all that gold to sell? They hack other peoples accounts! They're are many ways to hack someones account, like if u see a lvl 1 linking an epic item, don't open the link! That's how they can hack u, ur sending them ur pc ID and they take it, hack u, take all ur gold and try to scam someone else! How do I know? My sister has had her account hacked twice before! The first time was from the linking reason and the second time was because a random person whispered her and she answered back…then got hacked again! NEVER buy gold off the net or off anyone even, chances are they are practicaly ALL scammers and do that for a living. …besides what kins of retard would submit their credit card info to a complete stranger?

1) Bcareful of the sites u visit, they may contain viruses and u will get ur account hacked. The only sites I trust are bosskiller.com, thottbot.com. Don't go anywhere else!!

The fact is buying gold is mostly scams, illegal, and can greatly harm your financial life as well as computer. Don't do it.
