Are World of Warcraft Guide sites such as Thottbot safe to use?

Are they?
Answer truthfully. Dont lie saying that they are or Are not safe to use.
By that i mean dont just say something because you hate or love those sites.
im asking if using sites like thottbot & wowhead will give me keyloggers or viruses or trojans
and can someone name the Best SAFE sites to find WoW info just not sure what one is best although ive only heard of wowhead alakazam and thottbot

I used to use Thottbot a lot, and never had any problems (other than inaccurate information sometimes), but switched to using Wowhead after I learned that Thottbot is owned by a group that also sells gold.
The best advice I can give to you is not to click on any external links on any database site for world of warcraft. They know you play. If you didn't, you wouldn't be visiting their site. Even clicking on a link can (if the site is not safe) give you a keylogger as a free gift.
Make sure you're protected, and really, you should be scanning often anyhow.

yes.. i use thottbot a lot.. it even tells you in pictures where things are located..

I had always used thottbot and wowhead for all my info needed to get through WoW. Nothing wrong with them, dunno why you'd say it would be or asking it would be.

Oh yeah they're totally safe and reliable. Although I prefer using Allakazam.com instead of Thottbot. It's better set up and has alot more info and help. If you want to try out Allakazam I would reccomend you google it because it can sometimes redirect you to some weird site.

I love thottbot…it's been so helpful in my play since i lead a guild it also helps that i know where to look everything up when we have a quest that is difficult..

Yes, Thottbot is safe to use. To be honest I am not sure where you are going with your question. Are you asking if Blizzard will get upset if you use the site ? Or are you asking if visiting the website will cause you to get a key logger ?
