Google Search Jame’s Leveling guide.
Also download an add-on called Quest-helper.

I’ve heard that Zygor Guide is pretty good. I personally use Carbonite and it’s awesome. It’s very interactive and there’s many ways to personalize it. It mainly helps by pinpointing where the quest items are or where the quest should be turned in, where the flight points and inns are, etc. What i did when i started playing was create a few toons so that once I ran out of rest from one of them, i’d switch to another and so on. This way everytime I played, i was always getting double xp rather than questing with a purple bar.

I have my own tech here it comes.
When i level a char i do not try to complete all quests in a zone. Whenever there is a quest hard or needs group or far away to run, i pass it. You can almost say that i get into a town get all quests do them and change zone. With this way you get 1-2 levels at every zone. Of course try this tech after level 25.
Or if you are a healer/tank just do random instances.

If you’re looking for zone guides and things like that, I perfer Jame’s leveling guide.
As stated, Questhelper is a downloadable mod that will map out your quests and point out the optimum route to complete them.
If you want something more class specific to make you a better player, however, you can look up some WoW blogs online, or go to http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com and going to your class’s page.
I’d advise looking for a class guide first, as getting to know your class makes you a better player, and you’ll be able to kill things and finish quests that much quicker.

Hi there, thanks for your question.
An effective way to power level is to do lots of quests and probably ask a friend to take you to a high level dungeons. If you do quests regularly, you then get gold as a reward – with that gold you can buy really good weapons and armor in auctions houses and vendors, then you can show those suckers who there dealing with!
……If you really want to be master at WoW I recommend your obtain gold and buy armor. With gold you can ask people to take you to dungeons to power level for a small fee you pay them.
Anyways, I myself have 4 level 80 characters and 2 level 70’s, which am going to level up soon. My friend recommended this guide for WoW when I was struggling like you….trust me it works.
Buzz me if you have any questions.

Zygor’s guide isn’t bad but its pretty expensive.
A couple of good places to find free guides are:

Really though if you need a leveling guide to play WoW you fail at life. Warcraft is so easy, and its better to just have fun playing and getting to know your class.

Hey Tom. I’m a fairly experienced WoW player with a few 80s, and I generally take the quickest leveling methods to level a character. The game has changed greatly with each expansion, and thus the fastest ways to level have also changed. You’re in luck though, WoW in it’s current state generates a LOT of options for leveling.
Dungeon Finder
– You can now use this tool (available from your user interface, just press ‘I’ ) to find groups for dungeons; without actually having to travel to the dungeon. You just select your role: tank, dps (damage), or heals, and que up! It’s very simple, and if you’re a tank or a healer you can find groups very quickly, usually instanly.
Battleground Experience (PvP)
– Now you can que for Battlegrounds, from anywhere. Available from the interface (press ‘H’ ). Also, Battlegrounds now give you experience. A win can reward quite a few bubbles of experience at lower levels. You can also get experience from any honorable kill during the Battleground matches.
Download the addon ‘Questhelper’ (try http://www.curse.com )
– This addon displays your quests on the map a little more precisely. But, WoW does include a in-game quest tracker feature, so you could just use that.
– When you quest it’s best to pick up several, usually at minimum 4 quests. Go out, complete them all, and then go turn them all in. It’s called ‘quest stacking’. A good quester can still out-level someone using the Dungeon Finder or Battleground ques to level.
– If you really want to get some levels done. Just go out and start ‘quest stacking’ while alternating between using the Dungeon Finder and Battleground tools. After the Dungeon or Battleground, you will be ported back to wherever you where in the world. So you can keep on questing, and que up for either, whenever!
Honestly, don’t waste your money on those guides. They are just scams. The ‘best ones’ will give you exact routes throughout the zones and will have you do the quests step-by-step. You don’t miss any quests and you do them in a very convenient and quick manner. But that method of leveling is not the fastest anymore. With the Dungeon Tool and Battlegrounds, you can get tons of experience, and have a lot more fun doing it. But, if you would like to try a step-by-step guide, well, the best ones are always free!!

To be a little different from other answers, you need to focus. Yeah, focus. Believe it or not, if I had my laptop in my family room playing WoW with the tv or with other people around, I’ll easily get distracted. But if I’m up in my room playing wow, I got from level 70-80 in like 9 hours(not to impressive but it would have taken me like 17 hours if I leveled in my family room). Ok, now for addons you’ll need Carbonite. This tells you where to go and tells you what you have to do. It gets the job done. Btw, dont play on a shitty computer. Whats the use of paying 15 bucks a month when you only get like 5 FPS. I like to level "after hours". I get on around 12 at night so its peaceful and I can actually level. Also, another distraction is ingame. Dont spend an hour chillen in major cities and chatting with friends. Thats when your level 80 and looking for a raid:P. Don’t spend like 30 fricken minutes searching the auction house for gear. You can get gear from quests or dungeons. Just go to a city, Learn spells, whatever is MANDATORY and head out to quest again. Oh ****, I just realized I only read the heading of your question, not the body. Well, im not deleting this so I hoped this helped.
