What is a good leveling spot for me in World of Warcraft?

By admin | November 5, 2009

I am a level 36 Human paladin leveling up in world of warcraft. I would like to know of some good leveling zones. I really hate STV so if you know any others please tell me. Thanks

When I was a human mage about that level I found a lot of great quests in Dustwallow Marsh, Arathi Highlands, and Swamp of Sorrows. There are also a few quests in the Badlands, but I thought that zone was kind of boring.

Watch out for the Horde in Swamp of Sorrows; it’s still a great place to level up and gather herbs, though. You can stack up in no time at all if you have herbalism.

Go to around Arathi Basin and those areas about Ironforge. Either that or just PVP to get past it.

You can go to Dustwallow Marsh. Dustwallow should easily get you to 40, and the quests are rather painless.

As someone else said, shadow vault stairs. You can also go to Zul’Drak and shoot the stuff around the argent area. Ranged weapon skill is just about shooting stuff. At 80 you shouldn’t have a problem leveling it up, since your pet can basically survive everything that gets hurled at it. http://www.usfine.com

For melee weapons, though, it’s a different story. Find a mob somewhere with decent health and spam wing clip. 400 in 15 minutes.

Arathi Highlands, Badlands – should be ok, Desolace, Dustwallow Marsh. STV can be totally avoided if need be.

Download and install Carbonite. It is a leveling addon that will tell you what quests to do and where to do them.

    Good luck avoiding STV :)

I would try Desolace. If your battle group wins pvp often, i would do a few battlegrounds.

I dont know for sure, but i think that Southshore in Hillsbrad may have a few quests that you can do in the 30s.

While you are questing, put yourself in the LFG (Looking for Group) tab and maybe find an instance group or two, instances really help.

    Good luck!
