In WoW which profession should i pick?

Im a level 25 paladin and i cant decide whether to pick enchanting or engineering as a crafting profession
as enchanting i can enchant gear and be really good, but then again i can just buy the enchants from scrolls or just get someone else to make me the enchants
as an engineer i get trinkets, head gear , bombs and a bunch of other fun stuff but i heard that it was really expensive to level up and i heard that other people hated it, but to me its pretty fun to do
my gathering profession is mining
im a level 25 paladin that is specced in retribution, please help
Enchanting is unbelievably expensive in the long run to level up. You'll be grinding for greens and blues just to disenchant to level up, and running instances not for quests but for trash loot. It'll hamper your leveling time significantly and lower your cash flow too.
That said, in the end, enchanters are the richest people the game. Everyone needs them, and because of that they can demand the highest prices.
Engineering is a decent end game profession because you can make some of your own gear that's better than some of the high end-game gear. You can also create your own mount… but that's not necessary. It's also great for you because paladins don't really have a long range technique, but engineering can help you with that.
Enchanting, frankly, is easier to level as you are a higher level. You can solo instances for loot and you don't need to depend on someone else for cash. I'd recommend engineering.
