Is it possible to unlearn a profession in WoW?
By admin | November 27, 2008
I am thinking of ditching my herbalism and alchemy skills for mining and smithing. I am a level 32 Human warrior. My herbalism skill is only at level 35 and I no longer find herbs that will help me level-up my herbalism skills. HELP!
To find herbs you for your skill lvl, you'll want to head to lower lvl areas and just herb over and over ther until your skill gets higher. I think thats the best thing for you to do only because if you choose to learn mining, you'll have to start even lower and it will take longer. I had to do the same thing with mining in order to move on to iron. If you can't find places where that herb shows up a lot, check thottbot.com because I'm not familiar with Alliance areas (seeing how I play horde). If you go back to the first areas you encountered, you will find herbs that can boost your skill. My guess is that you will need about 30-60 minutes to double your skill
If you want to unlearn something, bring up your character stats and click on the skills tab at the bottom. From there, scroll down over your herbalism and alchemy skills. Highlight one and you will see a circle with a slash thru it, if you click that, it gives you the option to unlearn the skill. Repeat for both skills and then go learn something new.
