what WoW professions should i learn?
By admin | September 28, 2008
i’m a bit stuck here. I am currently a level 13 night elf hunter, and i was just wondering, which professions should i learn (apart from leatherworking and skinning)? I would like to know which ones could give me a good amount of money fairly quickly…
someone please help me?
skinning and mining are really the only ones that will make you any money at all when leveling. enchanting and jewelcrafting can make the most at 70 but you also have to put out a lot of money to level those skills. really at level 13 stop worrying about money and just level your character.

You can only learn two primary professions, and you can learn all three of the secondary professions (first aid, fishing, and cooking).
You should check prices on your server’s AH. The best way to make money would be to pick up primary gathering professions: skinning, herbalism, mining. You could also take enchanting and sell all of your dusts and shards, but if you don’t take up something like tailoring to craft green items to disenchant, you won’t have much to sell.
Some professions are better than others. For instance, engineering will make you next to no money since most items require engineering to use; however, it’s a very useful profession if you use guns and like bombs. Leatherworking items tend to be bought from the AH in your 60s but not beforehand. Try to pick something useful to you.
