World of Warcraft profession?

My professions in wow are herbalism and alchemy ….herb makes me a good amount of money with the raw materials but alchemy… i find myself spending more than making gold.
My alchemy is up to about 310-320 …would it be a dumb idea to unlearn and start over with something like skinning ..
At the high levels, expect to be spending to level. You SHOULD be catering for it plenty with herbalism. Try to just focus on leveling it as cheaply as possible (eg. potions that need herbs but do not need other items that cost money on the Auction House) until you can reach the high level and make the rarer potions.
If it is your first account, skinning might be a good alternative. Veteran players sometimes suggest you take up two gathering professions on your first. Not only are they easier to level without spending your gold, but being your stronger character you can easily venture into dangerous zones to pick up mats for alt characters.

Ohh.. you should be making more wow gold instead.
