WoW profession help!!?

priest here. So, I was thinking about dropping Herbalism on world of warcraft for Tailoring because I wanted to use the Lightweave Embroidery. However, I really like the concept of picking herbs and using Lifeblood. If I leveled Tailoring up and then embroidered my robes, could I drop it and relevel Herbalism and it still be there? 
Silly question, I'm sure. Please help. <3
if you level a profession up, then drop it, it will reset back to 0. at any point, if you START a profession, it will begin at 0. you could, of course, have both herbalism and tailoring (which would allow you to embroider your robes and pick the herbs), but you couldn't do anything with the herbs once they were picked.

Well yeah you could do that but it would be a huge waste of time lol.. I think you should go with tailoring and enchanting.. Thats what my priest has and I love it lol.
