New World Of Warcraft player, need help on upgrading?
By admin | May 10, 2009
I've downloaded the 10 day trial, and i now want to upgrade my account. I know i have to pay 15 euro a month, but do i have to buy the disc aswell? and if so which one because i've seen afew of them.
First off, yes you need to buy the disk.
Second off, the games go in this order, there are many expansion packs.
1. World of Warcraft
2. World of Warcraft : The Burning Crusde for levels 60-70 players.
3. world of warcraft : Wrath of the Lich King for levels 70-80 players.
World of Warcraft = The game and what you need to start playing.
World of Warcraft : The Burning Crusade contains A new expansion to a new zone called "The Outlands" and also lets your player expand to from Level 60 – 70 and also your character can purchase a "Flying Mount"
World of Warcraft : Wrath of the Lich King contains a new expansion to a Continent of Northrend. It also allows your character to to expand from levels 70- 80 and allowing the access of new dungeons and new armor sets.
If you look at your local walmart video game isle their is something called a "World of Warcraft: Battle Chest". It contains The burning crusade and the disk you need to start playing. It also contains a guide for each of them. You have to buy wrath of the lich king seperate to that. The "Battle chest" at walmart. It has the disk you need to start playing.
If you want to purchase gametime either pay online with credit card or go to local walmart and go to PC isle and look for World of warcraft Gametime cards. The card contains 2months of wow for 30 U.S. Dollars.
Thats everything good luck in your adventures in Azeroth.
P.S. On world of warcraft armory.com look up Soarlan and Cormath both on realm Draenor U.S.

you can either buy the disc or upgrade directly online from http://www.worldofwarcraft.com just sign in and i think its under account management id suggest though you have someone recruit you maybe a friend you made on your server? if they recruit you to a new account on wow when you quest with them you get three times the experience it makes questing a lot easier.
it costs 20 USD the first time you upgrade but it gives you a free month of WoW it doesnt cost you 15 dollars after that until a month later.

yes, you need to buy the discs for the key code, once you buy them you dont have to reinstall the game you just have to use the keycode on the package to allow your account to have full access; you need the original (World of Warcraft) and the 2 expansions are The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, in that order

Well you will need to buy the game and them have to pay monthly.
You can either buy the disc at a store and then pay monthly from WoW website using your credit card or visa or etc…
or
You can buy the game at the WoW website and then pay monthly at the WoW website aswell.
So unfortunately either way you will need to buy the $20-$30 / 20 – 30 Euro game and then pay the $15 / 15 Euro each month. I remember the first time I played WoW… I got hooked

Well it all depends on what expansion you want. If you want just the game then just buy World of Warcraft. If you want the burning crusade you must buy World of Warcraft and then the Burning Crusade, and if you want the Lich King then you have to buy World of Warcraft then the Burning Crusade and then The Lich King. But since you are just beggining i reccomend you buy The World of Warcraft Battle Chest (It includes World of Warcraft, The Burning Crusade, The first 2 strategy guides, and 30 days for free). I hope this helps

No you do not have to buy the disc. Now once you've completely become a member you can also go back to the wow website and test out burning crusades and if you like it you can upgrade and have that too. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE FULL GAME FIRST BEFORE YOU CAN USE BURNING CRUSADES!!! After that you can go do the same for wrath of the lich king. Except this time you have to have the full version, burning crusades before you can get wrath of the lich king. Before you go and buy all of them I would recommend that you go and first get used to the game and after you're about a lvl 25 to 35 (mostly 35) go and get burning crusades. Then once your'e about a 50 to 55 (get wrath of the lich king). Hope this helps. So far thats all the upgrades that have arrived.
