What is the best world of warcraft class and race?

I want the best guy what is the best and i want it to be on the allies not the horde all the people i know play allies…

A human deathknight would probly be the best, but if your just starting out there are different combinations on what you could make.
Night Elf – Druid or Hunter
Dwarf – Priest or Hunter
Human – Palladin
Gnome – mage or Warlock
the reason for these:
Night Elves – have the racial passive for agility so that'll give your hunter or druid extra boosts that could be very hard to get
Dwarfs – any good priest would be dwarf, and hunter because dwarfs have extra gun dmg
Humans – racial passive of extra 2-handed and 1-handed sword dmg, better stealth detection, and well, they have the nice touch of 25% more rep
Gnomes – Increased intellect which is better for warlocks and mages, more crit and mana
I prefer night elves, but if you wanna create an alliance character that is good, that's what i suggest, if you have a 55 and wotlk i sugges a Human Deathnight and spec it Unholy

there really is no BEST (if there was it definately wouldnt be on alliance), each class and race has their pros and cons, racial traits arent really that big of a deal any more, especially in end game; just find which class suits you best, do you want to be a high dps spellcaster? go for mage; do you want be a good healer for end game content? go for priest or resto druid; do you want a tank? go for proto warrior. my main is a rogue and for me thats the best class (for me, may not be for you)

I assume you are a beginner, if so choose human. They are the most balanced so you will learn with out having to learn to play against the weaknesses of the other races.

For a beginner I would suggest playing a Warlock class… They are easy to play and very good! Other races get very technical and involved.

im sorry to say but in my opinion you cant really be the best in the game. now you can be the best in your eyes but you really have to just do what i did and play around a little and see what you like. if your on farstriders realm look me up under the names soulcaliber or babysnatcher ha ha ill help you level fast and get you into a good guild. that goes for anyone else in here. and yes it is ally i have a good horde set up on bladefist under the name poisoned but im rarely on there anymore. but like i said just play around with different things and see what has a good feel for you.

i personally sudguest that you play a tauren or night elf druid
they level very easily and you can litterally do anything with thim
