What IS WoW Cataclysm?

I was looking online for a new game at ebgames and gamestop.com, and I saw a World of Warcraft game I hadn’t seen, and I was curious. Is it for WoW 3? Is it an old expansion? What IS Cataclysm?
i am pretty sure its world of warcraft 3. i have played every WoW game but never heard of that 1 so iut must be WoW 3

Cataclysm is the new expansion pack for World of Warcraft, It is not an old version but in order to play the content in that patch you much purchase the original World of Warcraft game, The Burning crusade (first xp. pack), The Wrath of the Lich King (Second xp. pack), And finally, cataclysm.

Ctataclysm is the new expansion of WoW. It’s not released yet. In order to play that u needa hav original WoW+Burning Crusade+Wrath Of the Lich King. Original WoW+Burning Crusade costs about S$60 with free one month game time and Wrath Of the Lich King cost S$66. Monthly fee is S$49. Sorry, I don’t know how much it’ll cost in your country.
