Whats better Runescape Or World Of Warcraft?

i personally dont know and i want to play one of these so can u help me make my decision?
take it from someone who played both that these vauge assurances of "wow is best" are nothing more than word of mouth alone, and very few people have any grounding in what they are talking about.
i think it all depends precisleey what you want to get out of the game which one you play, if you like storylines and good humour, then i definatley reccomend runescape members. if you are wanting to play a game that has better graphics and sound (although runescape high def does look very good) then you should play wow.
an area where runescape also excels is that combat ion not a neccesity for advancment in the game, many players enjoyt not fighting and being at risk all the time, but using all the non combative skills to gain resources, trade them for cash and other stuff (this is called a "skiller" account), its also nice that you can be whatever class you want to be in runescape,m and are not locked in by a choice.
Wow is superior to runescape in regards of the combative system, and also the clandistine system. runescape clans have a tendancy to fall apart from infighting and rivalry and i think its kinda ridiculous myself, so if your looking to do clan activitys wow would probally be a better option.
another point worth mentioning is the difference in real world trade policy. if you want an easy fast track game and are willing to spend the money to get gold and items, you can polay wow. however it is my beleif that buying your way to the top cheapens the game and it isnt much of an acheiovment. if you arent interested in doing this, runescapes makes (jagex ltd) have a very strict policy on trrading real life things for ingame things, they have no cashshop or premium items and will ban accounts that trade outside of the game.

Runescape has more professions but WoW has better graphics and Features so WoW is better

And i am addicted to runescape, i tried playing wow, and i got to level 17 on a rouge before i got sick of it.
Wow is better though.

As someone who has played both I can honestly tell you WoW is better. You have to pay, but you also have to pay for Runescape the full game.
WoW – fun classes, fun instances, gear, pvp, battlegrounds, etc

OK..This need to be a joke … Runscape : i can put crap on a paper and i will have more fun that that shit !! BUT !!! WoW is so fun you will get adicted ..and stop to speack whit you frieds and so on…

I've never played World of Warcraft before but I think it is a bit better than RuneScape and I'm like a RuneScape addict. Ha! Well maybe you should try RuneScape first since you don't have to pay and if you don't like it then try World of Warcraft.

A lot of people ask this question, but you can't really compare them. Runescape is a game that you can just play without downloading anything.
WOW, you have to buy it, download, and pay to play. Runescape, there's no need, unless you want extra features.
Play Runescape if you don't want to pay over $15 a month.

Download a 10 day trial for WoW.
And play the free version of Runescape.
See which you prefer.
In my opinion, WoW is vastly superior because of the graphics engine (full 3D, not 2D birds eye view), the social aspect, the feeling of accomplishment when you get a character to 80 and get him fully geared, and the overall sense of quality that you just don't find in free games.
New content is released every few months in WoW and it gives you more and more reasons to keep playing.
Don't listen to the people who burned out at level 15 or something, they haven't experienced practically anything the game has to offer.
Sure the grind from 1 to 80 isn't gonna be totally fun, but the work you put into the game pays off at the end, when you can access content that lower leveled characters can't.
With all the combinations of classes and races to choose from, you shouldn't get bored.
Bored people are people who don't bother to get a quest helper addon or who don't find the right area to level up in.
So they wander aimlessly and eventually quit out of frustration.
Don't be like that.

That's a good question i like playing both on my free time 1 about on runescape you play like a online person human character thing but you also take up money if you want to be come a member
2. if you wanna play warcraft you have to be paying like 30 dollars (sorry if im wrong) also you have to download it or something witch also takes up ram but warcraft has better graphics in my opinion and is like a vertual and gameing all day but its your choice! have fun!

i have never played WoW, but i have played runescape. runescape, in my opinion, is only fun if you have average stats of 60, being a member, having more than 500k, and having a goal to look forward to. i know that jagex has worked hard to improve gameplay, so i wouldn't criticize runescape.
however, as i have seen the gameplay of WoW, i believe that it is more entertaining and good to pass time with, though i don't think 15 bucks a month is worth it

game play,
things to do like, lvling instances, raids, pvp,
runescape if free unless u go member. it has crap graphics and everything, you die , there goes your gear,

WoW
It is in fact better, more things to do MUCH BETTER graphics and sounds, and you get classes and pets, also its much more tohught about and much better for PvP (fighting other people)
Iev played both and trust me rune scape is a load of crud and a half XD

WoW vs. Runescape -.- (sorry for reviving this post by the way) Let’s compare a free browser game to a 15$ a month real game! Anyway, Runescapes “Community” sucks. Period. Just about everywhere you go, there will be people trying to scam you, hack you, or be begging like a whore. WoW has about, 85% less of all that shit, and players that tend to be a bit more mature then Runescape players. If you REALLY want a free MMORPG ignore Runescape and any game related to that, and try Dugneons and Dragons Online, or Lord of the Rings Online. LOTRO you get a 10 day free trial account, and DDO you get a full free account, but you can pay for extra stuff (Races, Classes, etc.) So it all boils down to, do you have 15$ a month to spend on a game? If you do, go with Wow. If not go with DDO or LOTRO.

Ok ive played both games each for the same length of time and i must say world of warcraft has better graphics but once you get level 85 few bits of gear what do you do? you start over again its boring after the 5th time but the thing about runescape is unless you bot like crazy you CANNOT complete it in less than a year so in my opinion runescape is better
