Where is Shattrath city in World of Warcraft?

I forgot to ask – where is Shattrath and how do I get there?
As the others said, You 1st need The Burning Crusades expansion. Then buy a Port or get to the gate in Blasted lands and mount up and ride all the way there. With the last patch Blizz added portals in the Major Cities to the Blasted lands.
Do we have any idea when World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is being released?

It is located in Nagrand In Outland (you need TBC), you can see it on map. You can get there normaly with or without flying mounts.

Shattrath is in Outlands, which was introduced with the first expansion The Blasted Crusade. (TBC). you need this to be able to go there. Getting there can be tricky. Unless you are level 58, you wont be able to pass through the portal to get to ourlands. Once you get to outlands, you will be in the Zone Hellfire Peninsula, and Shattrath is in the zone that is Southwest called Terokkar Forest.
So if you are not level 58, you will need to get a mage to portal you, but this is only if you have the expansion set for TBC.

If you just want to get there, make sure you have The Burning Crusade and then pay a mage to teleport you there. Much easier, and faster, in my opinion.

Shattrath is NOT in nagrand!!!!! It is in Terrokar forest. you can get to the zone through zangarmarsh easily.
If you find a mage that is 65, they can port you to shat, just offer a gold or two and it shouldn’t be a problem.

Shattrath is located in Terrokar Forest in The Outlands. Someone said that you needed the expansion "the blasted crusade" to be able to get there, and that is incorrect. The actual expansion name is "The Burning Crusade". To get there you can go through the portal located in the southern region of the blasted lands, from there you can go through hellfire peninsula to terrokar forest. You can also check online for maps on different regions to found out the exact way to get there. I recommend getting the addon Carbonite to reduce further confusion about where things are in the game. Website to get the addon is http://www.carboniteaddon.com. Hope this helps!

First, you have to have the expansion, Burning Crusade to even think about the Outlands. Then, go to the Dark Portal, you got to be lvl 58 to enter the dark portal. then once you have entered the Dark Portal, it takes you to Shattrah city.
