World of Warcraft realms are all offline?

I just started playing a trial version of WoW yesterday. I woke up today, played a little, and had a small rest. I came back, it said that I was disconnected! I re-connected, but all the realms where offline! They’re still offline at the moment. I hope the problem is not from my end. Do you think the problem is world wide?

Blizzard does maintenance on all realms every tuesday morning. Don’t worry they should be back up and running in a few hours. Right now its 7:40 where I’m at. Usually around 12:00-1:00 I can get on. So just do the math for your time zone. =D

no it’s not you. every tuesday it shuts down for maintenence… it should be up by 2 pm.. i hate it too…

You’re probably on a certain realm in your local area… I don’t know usually you should try to enter the realm just to see for yourself

Right now since it Tuesday they have scheduled maintenance till later on so u should be fine

WoW has been around for roughly 5 years now. Tuesday has always been server maintenance day. You’re new, so you wouldn’t know that, but get used to them always being down right around now.
During a major patch day, they are sometimes down all day, but Blizzard has gotten a lot better about that, so it happens much less often.

I too just started play the trial a couple days ago. ive looked it up and found they do general maintenance on tuesdays…i guess. it sucks. i really like the game so far tho.
( : ill definitely upgrade my account. but i wish i could play. hopefully they are done soon. took forever to download too.
