Can i play World Of Warcraft still if i buy Wrath Of The Lich King?
By admin | October 21, 2009
Hey, I used to play WoW before WOTLK was available. But i quit and gave my account to my friend.
Now im thinking of returning and buying WOTLK, Will i be able to play with a NEW account, by just using the wotlk Activation Key? Or will i need to enter my TBC code too? (Which i cant enter because its already been used as its linked to my old acount which my friend still uses…)
Please Help ![]()
You first have to buy the orginal one. world of warcraft 1
THEN u can can buy the Burning crusade expansion.
once u have bought that THEN u can buy wotlk.

Yeah, each time you buy the game, that key is used and set to an account. If you reach the TBC and WotLK boxes, they require their predecessors. Therefore, you have to have Vanilla WoW on an account to activate each of the next ones.
