Do i need the world of wacraft burning crusade cd key for world of warcraft wrath of the lich king?

I have the burning crusade downloaded but i dont have the cd key so do i need it to upgrade to te lich king?
Yup, you need it in order to level from 61-70. Sorry.

Yes, you must have both World of Warcraft and World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade installed on your computer before World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King can be installed.

To play Wrath of the Lich King expansion you need to have both Original(Vanilla) WoW installed and you must have th efirst expansion pack The Burning Crusade installed aswell.
To play just Vanilla WoW you only need to have that installed.
To play just TBC you just need to have that and Vanilla installed.

You just need to buy the three box’s. (Or download them)
And install them.
You only need a CD-Key to activate your account from Vanilla wow.
And from BC you only need the key to Upgrade your account.
And from WOTLK you only need to upgrade too.
